So What is Lifesaving?

Lifesaving is both a mix of water and land based rescue awards as well as an international sport. Here at Evesham Lifesaving club we are directly linked with The Royal Life Saving Society UK teaching their Rookie Lifeguard Awards, Life-support and the National Lifesaving Academy Awards.

RLSS UK have, since their founding in 1891,  developed world-leading knowledge of water safety and training leading to a comprehensive range of vocational qualifications and a series of awards and education programmes which all have the ultimate aim of preventing drowning and stopping unnecessary loss of life. ​
